Common Entrance Test for Pondicherry Private Medical/Dental Colleges CETPPMC is a state level examination conducted by the Pondicherry Linguistic and Religious Minority Medical and Dental College Welfare Association for admission in medical and dental courses.

CETPPMC Eligibility Criteria

You should be class 12th pass under Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent examination.

Minimum Aggregate Marks- For General Category students minimum aggregate marks is 50% in Biology (Botany & Zoology)/Physics/Chemistry/Biotechnology. There is 5% relaxation for SC/ST Category

Age limit-

You should be 17 years or more as on December 31, 2017.

There is no upper age limit to appear for the exam.

You should have also studied English as a Subject.

CETPPMC Exam Pattern

Both the papers will be conducted in 2 sessions.

First session will be of Physics & Chemistry and 2nd session will be of Botany and Zoology.

Each paper will be of 2 hours.

Questions will be of multiple choice type.

No Negative Marking is applicable.

Paper will be in Pen paper based mode.

There will be 2 papers both have 3 hours duration

Each Correct Answer will be awarded 4 marks

Paper I will have 90 questions. Paper II consists of 82 questions

The Question Paper is available in English.
Each Question Paper will be of objective type.
Each paper in exam will be of 120 minutes duration.
