TNTEU Lesson Plan for Maths

Hi I am interested in having the previous years question paper of Mathematics of TNTUE test required as part of the preparation?

The previous years question paper of Mathematics of TNTUE test required as part of the preparation is as given below.


MATHEMATICS PAPER
TIME : Three Hours Maximum : 75 Marks.

PART - I (10X2=20 MARKS)
Very short answer questions

1. Explain briefly the social values of teaching mathematics.

2. ‘Mathematics is a tool’ - Comment on the statement.

3. List the objectives under cognitive domain of Bloom’s taxonomy of educational objectives

4. Mention any four uses of the knowledge of the history of mathematics to a mathematics teacher.

5. What are the steps involved in a micro teaching cycle?

6. What are the limitations in the use of average deviation as a measure of variability?

7. What are the special uses of overhead projector?

8. Mention the modes of CAI in mathematics.

9. What is meant by difficulty level of a test item?

10. Suggest four enrichment programmes for mathematically gifted children.

11. What is a prognostic test?

12. What is ‘individualised Instruction’?

PART - II (5X5=25 MARKS)
Short answer questions

13. Write down any five specific objectives for teaching the lesson ‘construction of in centre of triangle’.

14. What are the specific uses of mathematics text book and work book?

15. Calculate rank correlation coefficient for the following data :
X : 65 63 65 45 74 82 74 69 74 82
Y: 38 44 24 38 78 48 84 59 84 78

16. Explain the need for preparing lesson plans for classroom teaching of mathematics.

17. Discuss on the inclusion of mathematics in the school curriculum as an optional subject or compulsory subject.

19. Mention the teaching aids that you will use while deriving the formula for the area of a circular ring. How will you make effective use of these teaching aids.?
