Hi I would like to know what CFS stand for with regards to HCL Technologies and also the details of the services it offers?

CFS in HCL stands for Cross Functional Services. This is a sort of tip top group in HCL like COE (Center of Excellence). This group has learning on a large portion of the advances offered by various sellers.

This group will give you outrageous knowledge of T&T (Transition and Transformation) exercises. You will be the customer confronting for any new task performing due ingenuity, Knowledge exchange and enduring state. Once the task achieves the unfaltering state, you will be pulled off from that and will be put in another venture.

Key Services

End user computing including application management services, managed print services, and managed desktop services
Datacenter transformation services such as datacenter consolidation, hosting, and virtualization
Network services including network consulting, virtualization, and management
Information security services such as security consulting and identity and access management
Integrated operation management/ IOMS
Cross functional services such as service automation, BCP/DR consulting, and cloud computing services
Managed mainframe and AS/400 services
System integration services

CFS TOWER LEAD Post Details at HCL Technologies

Roles & Responsibilities:


a. KPIs and CSF around ITIL processes (primarily Major incident, Capacity and Problem management)
b. Running CSIs around Service management framework
c. Running gap assessments
d. Escalation management / vendor management
 Responsible to support Service Delivery in ensuring SM Services provided are in accordance with the Statement of Work(SoW) , Operational Level Agreements, and Underpinning contracts
 Responsible for building & implementing SM Projects in accordance with Project Management methodologies aligned with the CFS Practices
 Responsible to participate & drive the complete lifecycle of Service Management including Due Diligence/Assessment, Design & Implementation of SM Solutions
 Responsible for SLM wrt Process & Tools
 Responsible to lead and guide the Steady State Process & Tools team members
 Actively participate and drive the continuous improvement of the Service Management (Process & Tools)
