Chartered Institute of Management Accountants ACMA
Can you tell me about Associate Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) term related to Chartered Institute of Management Accountants? Completing Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) exams and demonstrating three years of practical experience, one can become an associate member of CIMA, and use the designator letters ACMA after one’s name. After one had completed five years of executive level experience, one can request for CIMA fellowship - FCMA, which is the highest position a person can go with CIMA (even if you become the CIMA President, still you'll be a fellow member). Also to add - with an ACMA or FCMA qualification, one can become a CGMA (Certified Global Management Accountant) offered by CIMA -AICPA merger. With an FCMA status, one can request ACCA fellowship also then one will become an FCCA. Members may use the description 'Chartered Management Accountant', Fellows may use the letters 'FCMA' and Associates may use the letters 'ACMA' after their names. If institute members cannot use the description or letters in the other countries or jurisdictions without infringement, then the institute may authorize the use of lawful alternatives in those countries and jurisdictions. In particular, where appropriate, members may add the suffix '(UK)' after the description 'Chartered Management Accountant' or after the letters 'FCMA' or 'ACMA' Last edited by Neelurk; June 24th, 2020 at 11:32 AM. |
