For IES exam only four branches are valid :
Four Category Of IES Exam:-
Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics And Telecommunication Engineering

Educational Qualifications
You have to pass A degree in Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent.
M.Sc degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communications, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as special subjects also acceptable for certain Services/posts only.

Age limit :
21-30 years on 1st August of the year of Examination.
