Content will be aligned with, and complement existing Key Stage 2 web-based learning resources. The Objectives Children's University of Manchester is to make The University of Manchester the UK's most accessible and welcoming research-intensive university. To provide opportunities for students on the Manchester Leadership Programme to combine formal leadership skills training with community engagement activities. The Children's University of Manchester has been designed to support KS2 (7-11) teaching and learning both in the classroom and at home. The resources are aligned to the KS2 National Curriculum and QCA schemes of work and include a combination of interactive learning materials, downloadable resources, educational games and videos. An important objective of the Children's University of Manchester is to give children an insight into University life by introducing them to students, staff and graduates who will explain what University life entails, show children that it is a welcoming, accessible and exciting environment and importantly give children aspirations for their own future.
