CMC Vellore Entrance Exam (CMC Vellore) is now replaced by National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) for admission in B Tech Program offered by Christian Medical College Vellore. NEET 2017 Important Dates NEET 2017 applications to be released January 31, 2017 Last date for submitting the application form March 1, 2017 Submitting NEET application form (with late fee) Second week of March Date of uploading of Admit-Card on website April 15, 2017 NEET 2017 Exam Date May 7, 2017 Downloading of OMR Answer Sheet Last week of May Declaration of NEET 2017 Result June 8, 2017 NEET 2017 Exam Pattern NEET 2017 exam date and time May 7, 2017 - 10:00 am to 01:00 pm Exam mode Pen and Paper Exam duration 3 hours (180 minutes) Language English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya and Kannada Number of questions 180 multiple choice questions (MCQs) Distribution of questions 90 questions from Biology and 45 questions each from Physics and Chemistry Marking Scheme +4 for each correct response -1 for each incorrect response Syllabus The Medical Council of India (MCI) recommended the NEET for admission to MBBS/BDS courses across the country after review of various State syllabi as well as those prepared by CBSE, NCERT and COBSE. CMC Vellore 2017 Eligibility The eligibility criteria of MBBS course is mentioned below: • Candidates must have a valid NEET score. • Candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and English subjects. • Candidates should score minimum 60% marks in each of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (for general candidates) and 40% marks (for SC/ST candidates). • Candidates must have been born on or before 31 Dec 1999. • Improvement marks in 12th will not be considered. |
