CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CSIR-CIMAP) is a constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR)

The Institute conducts research in all frontline areas of Biological, Agricultural & Chemical Sciences.

It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi

Eligibility
Candidates must have passed M.Sc. in Life Sciences /Agriculture/ Botany/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Bioscience/ Biochemistry / Plant Sciences/ Environmental Sciences/ Molecular Biology/ Bioinformatics with at least 55 % marks (50% marks for SC/ST/PH) and have cleared CSIR-UGC NET Exam/ ICMR-NET Exam/ DBT-JRF Exam or any other Exam leading to JRF/SRF fellowship

Application Procedure:
Admission to the CIMAP-JNU Ph.D. programme will be made purely based on interview

Fee Structure:
Candidates selected for CIMAP-JNU Ph.D Programme will be required to pay the following fees:
1. Tution Fee* : Rs.15000/-per semester
2. Admission & Enrolment fee : Rs. 100/-
3. Security Deposit (Refundable) : Rs. 2000/-
4. Identity Card folder : Rs. 100/-
5. Registration fee** : Rs. 5000/-
