Department of Civil Engineering at the IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), Roorkee was established on October 19, 1847. This Department offers a four-year course leading to the Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering and two-year courses leading to Master’s degree in eight major specializations of civil engineering:

Bachelor of Technology (Civil Engineering):

Admission Criteria:
Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board.

Selection Procedure:
Selection will be on the basis of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) results.

Duration: four year
