The Union Public Service Commission UPSC conducts the Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam is common exam for the candidates applying for Civil Services Examination and Indian Forest Service Examination

Civil Services exam eligibility-

Graduation degree in any stream from any recognized University

The candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination and are waiting for the result are also eligible to apply

Age Limit

The candidates must be aged between 21 years to 32 years

The candidates will be applicable for the age limit relaxation as prescribed the GOI.

Exam Date: 7 August, 2016
Civil Services Mains: 3 December, 2016

CSAT (Prelims) Pattern

The Preliminary Examination consists of two papers of Objective type (multiple choice questions)

Exam carry maximum of 400 marks.

In General Studies Paper - II, minimum qualifying marks is 33%.

You will be selected for Mains exam based total qualifying marks of General Studies Paper - I.
