Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is the all India level law common entrance exam exams conducted by 18 National Law Universities (NLUs) rotationally for admission in integrated LL.B. and LL.M. programme. CLAT Eligibility Criteria For UG Courses: The candidate will be considered eligible for CLAT if he/she has passed the 12th examination with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates). Candidates appearing the 12th examination in March/April will also be eligible to apply There will be no upper age limit to apply For PG Courses: The prescribed qualification for LL.M. is LL.B./Five-Year Integrated LL.B. (Hons.)/ any other equivalent exam. Minimum percentage of marks in qualifying examination should be 55% for unreserved /OBC/Specially Abled Persons (SAP). In case of SC/ST, the minimum marks would be 50%. Final semester/final year examination appearing candidates may also apply. No prescribed maximum age limit for PG courses. CLAT Tentative Date 2018 Notification Date 4th week of December 2017 Availability of Online Application Form 1st January 2018 Closing date of Application Submission along with order of preferences for NLUs 4th week of March 2018 Issue Date of Admit Card 3rd week of April 2018 Date of Examination 13th May 2018 Publishing of Answer Key 3rd week of May 2018 Announcement of Result (issue of merit list) 4th week of May 2018 Counselling Commence 1st week of June 2018 Closure of Admission 1st week of July 2018 |
