Tentative schedule Event Date Online registration of application form begins April, 2017 Online registration of application form ends April, 2017 Closure for editing application details April, 2017 Online Fee Payment April 2017 Last date for printing your application May 2017 Admit Card for Preliminary Exam May 2017 Online written exam May to June, 2017 Result declaration of Online Prelims Exam June 2017 Mains Exam June 2017 Exam pattern Prelims Examination – The total mark for the Preliminary Examination will be 100 marks comprising of three sections – English, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. There is also provision for negative marking. Candidates will have to qualify in all the three sections to be shortlisted for the Mains Examination. Candidates will also have to secure the sectional and overall cutoff Mains Examination The duration of the Mains exam will be 2 hours 40 minutes comprising of 200 marks. There was four section in the Mains Exam of SBI Clerk 2016 – Reasoning & Computer Ability, General & Financial Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and General English. There is also provision for negative. 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. SBI has dispensed of the Interview, therefore, candidates will be selected on the basis of the performance in the Mains Examination. Candidates sufficiently high in the merit will be provided appointment Application fees Candidate can pay application fee thru online mode only. Candidates can pay application fee through net banking or any credit/debit cards. Application fee of Rs. 600 for General and OBC candidates and the application fee of Rs. 100 for SC, ST, PwD and Ex-S candidates. Selection procedure Selection process includes three steps: 1st Step: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type Questions) (100 Marks) 2nd Step: Main Examination (Objective Type Questions) (200 Marks) 3rd Step: Interview |
