The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur consider a candidate’s CAT/ CMAT score to decide merit for admission in MBA program.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on CAT/CMAT score for PA process. The cut off
score will be decided by the admission committee based on the number of total applicants.

The criteria for preparing the Merit List will be as follows:-

CMAT/CAT Score: 52%
PA (GD & PI): 40%
Profile: 8%

Personal Appearance:

NIT Durgapur will consider the following weightage:-GD: 15%
PI: 25%

Profile-

The following weightages will be considered in the case of following profile:-

Work experience: 5%
Diversity: 3%

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates, having pursued Graduate (minimum 10+2+3 format) in any discipline with minimum 55% marks in graduation for general category and OBC and 50% marks for SC/ST with a valid CAT score with at least 60% in both 10th and 12th standard are eligible to apply

Selection Procedure

Short-listing for GD-PI will be based on valid CAT score and merit listing for admission will be based on valid CAT score, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI)
