CMAT is out of how many Marks
Can you tell me how many the total number of Marks is the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) as I want to know it before staring my preparation of it?

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) will comprise of Multiple Choice Questions, which means that the appearing candidates will be provided with 4 choices to answer a single question and out of these 4 given options, candidates will have to mark one response. There will be four sections in the test. The sections are (a) Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation b) Logical Reasoning c) Language Comprehension and d) General Awareness CMAT Marks The CMAT online test will be marked out of a total of 400 marks; each section will carry 100 marks each. For every correct response marked, 4 marks will be awarded but for every incorrect response marked, 1 mark will be deducted. A total of 180 minutes, i.e. 3 hours will be allotted for attempting these 100 questions. Test Pattern for CMAT Type of Questions No. of Questions Maximum Marks Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation 25 100 Logical Reasoning 25 100 Language Comprehension 25 100 General Awareness 25 100 Programmes Eligible for after giving CMAT Exam One will be eligible for PGDM, MBA and similar, PGCM and Executive PGDM programmes. Management (PGDM, MBA and similar) 2 Yrs Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 Yrs duration Obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination Management (PGCM) More than 1 Yrs but less than 2 Yrs Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 Yrs duration /span> Management (Executive PGDM) 15 month Any recognize any recognized Bachelors degree of minimum 3 years duration and a minimum of 5 years relevant managerial / supervisory experience. Obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying Examination |
