Cmi vs iisc

Hello sir, what is difference between CMI and IISC? Is there any one can tell me good institute from CMI or IISC?

As per my knowledge the IISC is public institute and CMI is provides a Research and Education Institution.

The Chennai Mathematical Institute is a research and education institute in Chennai, India. This CMI institute was founded by the SPIC Science Foundation in 1989, and offers undergraduate as well as postgraduate programmes in Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science

CMI was recognized as a university under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956,[4] making it a deemed university

In other hand the Indian Institute of Science is a public university. This is situated for scientific research and higher education located in Bangalore, India. This IISC was established in 1909. It is also locally known as the "Tata Institute".
