The Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination is conducted by UPSC for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy.

CDS 2017 Exam Eligibility criteria-

For Indian Military Academy/Officers’ Training Academy:

Degree from a recognized university or equivalent

For Indian Naval Academy:

Bachelor of Engineering

For Air Force Academy:

Degree of a recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering

Graduates with first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of graduation provisional certificate on the date of commencement of the SSB interview at the SSB

Candidates who are studying in the final year degree course can also apply

Age Limit-

Indian Military Academy 19–24 years

Air Force Academy 19–24 years

Naval Academy 19–22 years

Officers’ Training Academy 19–25 years

Announcement of Exam Notification: 09th August 2017

Last Date for Submission of Applications: 08th September 2017 (Friday) till 06.00 pm

Admit card can be downloaded: September to October 2017

Date of CDS 2017 Exam: 19th November 2017 (Sunday)
