COMEDK Under Graduate Entrance Test UGET is conducted by COMEDK for admission in Medical, Dental and Engineering private colleges in Karnataka. COMEDK UGET Eligibility Criteria Engineering: 10+2 or 2nd PUC from any recognized Board with minimum aggregate of 45% (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) Aspirants must have studied Physics, Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject along with any one of the following optional subjects - Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology or any other technical vocational courses. Candidates are required to have studied English as a subject in the qualifying exam. Architecture: 10+2 or 2nd PUC from any recognized university or Board in the country with Mathematics as one of the subjects along with other subjects or a 10+3 Diploma recognized by Central / State Government. Candidates must have scored at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka). There shall be no Entrance Test for candidates seeking admission to B. Arch Course. The candidates should have appeared for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture COMEDK UGET Exam Pattern: Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka will announce the Exam Pattern of COMEDK UGET 2016 on basis of which the question paper of entrance test will be prepared. Subjects PCM PCB PCMB (BE) (MBBS/BDS) (BE & MBBS/BDS) Physics 60 MCQ 60 MCQ 60 MCQ Chemistry 60 MCQ 60 MCQ 60 MCQ Mathematics 60 MCQ Not Applicable 60 MCQ Biology Not Applicable 60 MCQ 60 MCQ English Not Applicable 60 MCQ 60 MCQ Total 180 MCQ 240 MCQ 300 MCQ The exam included these two papers- Physics and Chemistry as one paper for two hours duration besides Mathematics as one paper for one hour duration. Each correct answer was awarded one mark. There was no negative marking. The entrance test will be based based on the syllabus of 10 + 2 / 12th standard/ 2nd PUC. |
