Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU)Popularly known as Nagpur University. It is one of the oldest universities in India. Maharashtra, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University established in 1932. PHD The selection of students made based on performance in the university entrance exam called PET II (Ph.D. Entrance Test) and scores in the qualifying degree. PhD entrance test dates: Commencement of online applications 7th December Last date of online application and printing of application form 13th December Availability of PET I Admit Card 20th December PET I Exam 27th – 29th December PET I Result Declaration 2nd January PET II Admit Card 7th January PET II Exam 13th January PET II Result Declaration 21st January Commencement of Registrations 1st March Final Date of Registration 20th March PhD entrance eligibility: Aspirants must have passed his/her master's degree from a recognized university in the relevant subject. Applicants should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% for reserved seats in Maharashtra) in their qualifying degree. The admission process generally starts in December. The following group of candidates will exempt from PET: The candidate who have qualified GATE/SET/NET/JRF examination The candidate who possesses an M.Phil in the concerned course from any university.
