Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) exam is conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for admission in MBA program in Karnataka . Karnataka PGCET 2016 Eligibility Criteria For Full Time MBA courses: Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum duration of 3 years examination or any equivalent examination and have scored an aggregate marks of 50% This is 45% of marks for candidates belonging to the reserved categories SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates. For Part Time MBA courses: Degree examination or any equivalent examination and has obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks in all the subjects (including languages) This should be 45% of marks in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka candidates. Work experience is also required Candidate must have worked for three years or more Karnataka PGCET Application Fee The candidates belonging to the reserved categories will have to pay Rs. 500/- as application fee, whereas the candidates of unreserved categories will have to pay Rs. 650/-. This fee is non-refundable and can be paid against the e-challan generated while registering for the test. The fee will be deposited into any of the branch of specified Banks. Karnataka PGCET Exam Pattern The exam will be held in pen-paper mode (OMR based). It will have a total of 100 objective type questions. Duration of the exam will be 120 minutes. The medium of the tests will be English only. Each question shall carry 1 mark, making the total to be 100. The questions will be asked from 4 sections, which are as follow– Section A – Proficiency in English Language Section B – General Knowledge Section C – Test of Reasoning and General Intelligence Section D – Quantitative Analysis |
