The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination BCECE is conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board for admissions to various professional degree courses that are offered at the different Medical, Engineering & Agriculture colleges under the Government of Bihar.

BCECE eligibility Criteria-

Candidates have passed the 10+2 Qualifying Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics /Biology as core subjects with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST category candidates)

Candidates appearing in the 12th exam can also apply

Student should have completed 17 years age

Only Indian citizens can apply

Application Fees

Candidates belonging to PCB or PCM domain are necessary to do the payment of Rs. 660/- (for General and OBC category applicants) and Rs. 330/- (for SC and ST applicants)

Applicants belonging to PCMB domain are necessary to pay the amount of Rs. 730/- (for General and OBC category candidates) and Rs. 365/- (for SC and ST category candidates)

Exam Pattern

The paper will be held in two phases i.e. Stage 1 and Stage 2.

BCECE Stage 1

There will be four section in the exam i.e. from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.

All the questions will be of MCQ type having 4 options.

The total no. of question will be 200, i.e. 50 from each section.

The duration of the examination is 2 hours 15 min.

The question paper will be of total 600 marks.

For each incorrect answer 1 marks will be deducted.

All candidates have to attempt physics and chemistry as compulsory sections, and Math and biology as optional as per their chosen field for engineering or medical.

BCECE Stage 2

The stage 2 will also contain four sections from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology

100 question in each subject

Each subject carries 400 marks

+4 mark for correct answer and -1 for wrong answer.
