CSIR UGC NET is conducted for determining the eligibility of the Indian National candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET and for determining eligibility for appointment of Lecturers (NET) in following subject.

Earth Sciences
Life Sciences
Mathematical Sciences
Physical Sciences
Engineering Sciences

Eligibility:
The applicant should have completed BS 4 Years program/BE/B.Tech/B.Pharma/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/M.Sc or equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks from any recognized university of India.

AGE LIMIT& RELAXATION
For JRF (NET):
Minimum 19 Years and maximum 28 years

For LS (NET)
No upper age limit.

Date of Start of Online Submission:February 10, 2014
Last Date for Online Registration: March 4, 2014
Last Date of Submitting Online Application Fee: March 3, 2014
Last Date for receipt of Hardcopy/ Printout of Online application: March 8, 2014
Last date for receipt of application from candidates of far-flung areas: March 14, 2014.
