CSR Policy Of NTPC
I am planning to join the NTPC for doing job want to know about the CSR (Corporate social responsibility) policy of the NTPC. Will you please provide me the details of the CSR policy of the NTPC and if possible please provide me information in pDF format?

NTPC Limited is an Indian PSU Public Sector Undertaking, engaged in the business of generation of electricity and allied activities. It is a company incorporated under the Companies Act 1956 and a "Government Company" within the meaning of the act. As you Asking for the Information About the Corporate Social Responsibility of the NTPC is given below Corporate Objectives onCSR & Sustainability. "To contribute to sustainable power development by discharging corporate social responsibilities" "To lead the sector in the areas of resettlement & rehabilitation and environment protection includingeffective ash-utilization, peripheral development and energyconservation practices" Guiding Principles • Strive to improve standard of living of society at large, with preference to local and backward areas. • Promote inclusive growth by focusing onneeds of the deprived, under privileged, neglected and weaker sectionsof the society especially women, girl child, physically challenged and elderly persons. Contribute towards clean and sustainable development by protecting & maintaining the environment (air, soil and water), conserve natural resources, support biodiversity conservation and promote renewable energy. Planning & Implementation CSR & Sustainability projects/ activities are undertaken with a view to achieve improvement in living standard of communities.
