Admission to different programmes of the CUTN is done through the CENTRAL UNIVERSITIES COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (CUCET). Consistently CUCET is being directed by a consortium of Central Universities contains recently shaped Central Universities viz. Haryana, Jammu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kashmir, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan, South Bihar and Tamil Nadu. The quantity of Universities taking an interest in CUCET builds step by step.

CUCET-2016 was held in 57 centres the nation over for admission to different Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Research and Integrated programmes. More than 65000 applicants have showed up for the Common Entrance Test led on 21st and 22nd May 2016. It is proposed to lead CUCET-2017 in around 75 focuses.

CUCET Exam Pattern

All CUCET Question Papers will be MCQ based comprising of:

Section A : Language, general mindfulness, scientific bent and diagnostic aptitudes – containing 25 MCQs

Part B : Domain Knowledge – including 75 MCQs. This part may comprise of three/four/five segments. Each segment will have 25 questions. A competitor is required to answer an arrangement of any three segments (75 questions ). Nonetheless, he should guarantee that he fills right circles in the OMR Sheet comparing to the question numbers went to.

For Admission to some Integrated Courses/MBA/LLB or some other general course(s), just a single paper containing 100 MCQs covering English dialect, thinking, information translations/numerical capacity, general mindfulness and expository abilities will be held.

The competitor should pick one right answer and stamp on OMR Sheet.

Each paper will be just of Two Hours Duration.

There will be negative checking. Each right answer will convey 03 marks and for each wrong answer, 01 stamp will be deducted. Questions not endeavored won't be surveyed and henceforth won't be considered for get ready last legitimacy list.
