Defence Agricultural research Laboratory, DARL is now known as Defence Institute of Bio-Energy Research (DIBER). It is a constituent unit of Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO). The laboratory is located at Haldwani, District- Nainital (Uttarakhand) It was primarily form3ed in the year 1961. Areas of Work R&D on bio-energy and biofuel for defence use.
