Professor Bhagavatula Dattaguru (born in 1942) is an Indian specialist and scholastic. He has gotten a few honors, including the Padma Shri Award, India's fourth most astounding regular citizen respect in 2005 in the field of science and building.

Education

Dattaguru had his school instruction at various board schools in the region where his dad, Raghavendra Sastry, acted as an educator and a director. He has a long relationship with Andhra Loyola College (ALC), where he did his Intermediate (old plan) and B.Sc degree (Physics fundamental) amid 1955-57 and 1957-59 separately. In his degree, he stood first and secured gold decoration from Andhra University, to which Loyola College was then associated.

An awesome admirer of science, Dattaguru moved to Bangalore for higher examinations and joined the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). He went ahead to finish BE in electrical engineering amid 1959-62 and ME in aviation technology amid 1962-64.

Career as Professor

Dr. Dattaguru proceeded with his relationship with the IISc by joining its faculty in the aeronautic design division in 1964. He worked there an assistant professor, associate professor and a professor, before resigning as Chairman of the aeronautic design division in June, 2004. He took a PhD in 1973 and he is respected with Emeritus individual during his long spell at the IISc.

Dr. Dattaguru worked with the space innovation illuminators, including the President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Kota Harinarayana, Kasturi Rangan and R. Chidambaram. As a personnel, Dr. Dattaguru guided various research researchers. He went by the US, Australia, Hong Kong and a few different nations as going to educator. An untiring researcher, Dr. Dattaguru turned into an emeritus teacher of the IISc after his retirement and now he is a meeting educator at jain college, Bangalore.
