The syllabus for Delhi Police Head Constable Post Examination is as follows:

Reasoning:

Questions will be analytical and entirely based on arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, decision making, visual memory, spatial orientation, observation, relationship concepts, problem solving, analysis, judgment, discrimination, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, coding and decoding, statement conclusion.

General Knowledge/Current Affairs:

Questions will be asked test the ability of the candidate. History, Culture, Economic Scene, General policy and scientific research, Geography will be the topics you have focus on for this exam.

Numerical Ability:
Number Systems: Number Series, Decimals and Fractions, Computations of the Number, Relationship between Numbers. Arithmetical Operations: Percentage of number, ration and proportion, square roots, averages, questions on interest, profit & loss, discount, mixture and allegation, time and distance, time and work, partnership business.

Mensuration: Quadrilaterals regular polygons, circle right prism right circular cone, right circular cylinder sphere, hemispheres rectangular parallelepiped regular right pyramid.

Algebra: Basic Algebraic identities of School Algebra like formulas and elementary surds. Questions can also be on graphs of linear equations.

Statistical Charts: Question will be on tables and graphs: histogram frequency polygon bar-diagram, pie chart.

Geometry: In this section circle is the most important topic as questions can be similarity of triangles circle and its chords, tangents, common tangents to two or more circles & angles subtended by chords of a circle. Also practice questions based on triangle.

Trigonometry:
Trigonometric ratios Degree and Radian Measures, Standard Identities, Complementary Angles, Heights and Distances.
