Delhi Technological University (DTU), is a premier government university located in New Delhi, India. It was established in 1941.

It is one of the oldest engineering colleges in India and Delhi's first engineering college.

The college has been under the government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi

Rankings and reputation-

DTU is consistently ranked as one of the top engineering colleges in India.

The college has been rated AAAA+ by Careers 360 (Magazine) Top Engineering Colleges in India 2015.

DTU has been ranked as the 12th best Engineering College of India in the Edu-Rand Rankings of 2015

The survey was done jointly by Edu, an Indian company and Rand Corporation, a non-profit American thinktank.
