BJP-RSS's understudy equip Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) kept up its predominance in the Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) surveys this year, packing three seats including that of president. Congress' National Students' Union of India (NSUI) made a rebound by winning the joint secretary's post in the results reported. Amit Tanwar is the new DUSU president while, ABVP's Priyanka and Ankit Singh Sangwan have been chosen as VP and secretary, according to the chief election officer for DUSU elections, D.S. Rawat. NSUI applicant Mohit Garid won the joint secretary's seat. A year ago and the year prior to that, ABVP won every one of the four seats in the DUSU surveys. AAP's Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti, which was crushed a year ago in its presentation, did not challenge the surveys this year. NOTA votes were presented without precedent for DUSU surveys this year, and practiced by 17,712 understudies – a huge number. In the definitely challenged president's post, Tanwar got 16,357 votes, vanquishing NSUI applicant Nikhil Yadav by an edge of 4,680 votes, Rawat said.
