Situated on the beautiful grounds of the Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, the Department of Physics began its action in 1952 and there is no thinking back from that point forward. Headed by Prof. Anjali Kshirsagar, the division is a dynamic bee sanctuary of examination being done in a wide assortment of boondocks territories and additionally excellent post-graduate and doctoral projects.

The division has adaptability in encircling courses and leading tests and examinations. It has been perceived that instructing in this division is among the best in the nation.
