About the School of Physics

The School of Physics (earlier known as Post Graduate Department of Physics) is one of the first Departments established under Sambalpur University. Since than this has been a pioneering centre in teaching and research in Physics. Eminent faculty members have taught to our students. In recognition of it’s excellence the school has been awarded financial grant under FIST programme by Department of Science and Technology,
