The Department of Rheumatology is earlier functional as a Clinical Immunology & Rheumatology division under Department of Medicine was established as a separate super speciality department on 7 August 2015.

The department currently has a three years non academic course for senior residents. It soon plans to start three years academic course ‘DM’ in rheumatology fellowship programme.
