Haryana DET (Diploma Entrance Test) conducted by Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) for admissions to various diploma courses in different streams of Engineering & Technology in the Haryana State

Exam Pattern

Mode of Exam: Haryana Polytechnic Exam will be held in offline mode (pen – paper mode).

No of Questions: In the entrance exam, 100 objective type multiple choice questions will be asked.

Duration: The duration of the exam will be 1 hour 40 minutes.

Language: The medium of the question paper will be English or Hindi both.

Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be awarded to the candidates for correct answers.

Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking for wrong answer.

Fee

The application fee will be Rs 500 for general category & Rs. 200 for all reserved category of Haryana.

Eligibility
Students have to pass the class 10th/SSC examination with Science & Mathematics.
They have to secure at least 35% marks (33% in case of SC/ST/KM category) at the qualifying examination.
