Will you please give me detail of Common Proficiency Test (CPT) exam????

Common Proficiency Test (CPT) exam is held twice a year for admission to ICAI in the integrated professional competence course, the entry level in becoming a Chartered Accountant.

Eligibility criteria:
The minimum eligibility is must have passed 10 +2 with 50%.
There is no age limit.

Important dates:
CA CPT June 2014 exam form filling will start from 4th April 2014 (10:00 AM) onwards
Last date of submission of the same is 25th April 2014 (05:30 PM).
CPT 2014 exam date: 22 June

Paper pattern:
-The paper consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
-It is a 200 marks exam.
-Negative marking will exist. 25% marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Passing criteria:
You must obtain a minimum of 30% marks in each subject.

CPT Subjects:

Session I:
Section A: Fundamentals of Accounting (60 Marks)
Section B: Mercantile Laws (40 Marks)

Session II:
Section C: General Economics (50 Marks)
Section D: Quantitative Aptitude (50 Marks)
