The Dhaka University Library is the focal library of the University of Dhaka which began in 1921 with an accumulation of eighteen thousand books got from Dhaka College and Law College.

The Library now has more than six lakh eighty thousand (680,000) books and diaries. Besides, it has around thirty thousand uncommon original copies. Dhaka University Library is the biggest in the nation.

The University building is arranged close to the TSC principle focus in transit towards the Charukala craftsmanship staff working of Dhaka University.

Library Offerings

Library Hours:

The library reader’s service is open from Saturday to Friday. The Library remains open from Saturday to Wednesday at 8 am to 9pm. On Thursday the Library remains open from 8 am to 5 pm and on Friday at 3.00 pm to 8 pm.
