I have decided to give the District Institutes of Education and Training (DIET CET) exam of Andhra Pradesh AP want to know the exam dates. Can you tell me is there any website available from where I can check the latest notification of AP DIET CET exam?

Online application for DEECET - 2019 were invited for admission into two years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) in Government District institutes of Education and Training (D.I.E.Ts) and other Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions in the state conducted by Dept. of School Education, Govt of A.P on 15.05.2019 and 16.05.2019 in all 13 Districts of the state of A.P.

Eligibility Criteria for AP DEECET (DIET) 2019

One should have completed 17 years age as on 1st September of the year of the admission.

One who passed or appeared for the 10+2 during 2018-19 final Exams (Qualifying Exam) or its equivalent is eligible to appear for the entrance test. But, one should have passed the qualifying exam by the time of admission.

One need to Complete 10+2 (or) its equivalent with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH) from intermediate board of AP/Telangana.

One who passed intermediate with vocational courses is not eligible.

Mathematics:- One who studied Mathematics as a subject at Intermediate level

Physical Science: - One who studied Physics & Chemistry as subjects at Intermediate level

Biological Science: - One who studied Botany & Zoology as subjects at Intermediate level

Social Studies: - One who studied any of two subjects out of Civics, Economics, History, Geography and Commerce at Intermediate level.


Exam Pattern

The Exam will be conducted only in online mode (Computer Based Test).

The Exam will be conducted in 100 Objective type multiple choice questions.

There is two parts - Part- 1 for common to all & Part-2 for their subject optional

All questions carrying equal marks and no negative marks for wrong answers.

Exam will be conducted in 1 hour duration.
