Telangana State Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test (TS DEECET) is conducted by Department of School Education, Government of Telangana on behalf of Telangna State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) for admission in Two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed) in Government District Institutions of Educational Training (DIET's) and Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions in Telangana for the academic year 2016-2017.

TS DEECET Eligibility

Intermediate (10+2) final examination (or) its equivalent

The candidates who have compartmentally passed (or) appearing for Intermediate are also eligible to apply

The candidate should have secured 50% marks (45% marks for SC / ST / PH candidates) in qualifying examination.

The candidates who passed Intermediate (10+2) with vocational courses are not eligible.

Age Criteria -

The candidates should have completed 17 years of age

There is No upper age limit.

Candidates should be of Indian Nationality .

Candidate should be belong to the state of Telangana only and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the TS educational Institutions or 1974 as subsequently amended.

Telangana DEECET Exam pattern

The Examination containing 100 questions with 3 sections in 120 minutes time duration.

There is no negative marks.
