Hello sir, here I came to get admission in IGNOU for DME program. I want to do Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from IGNOU. Please tell me for Diploma in Mechanical Engineering program what eligibility should be requiring at IGNOU?

IGNOU offers DME program in its distance mode. The Diploma Programme in Mechanical Engineering seeks to provide more accessible and quality education and training to manufacturing/ production personnel to meet the real work needs of manufacturing/ production industry and prepare them for the changes in techniques, technologies, markets and employment patterns.

Eligibility:

Candidates are 10th pass with 55 per cent marks from those school that is here I’m giving you names:

10th pass with ITI certificate; or
10th pass with Certificate in Motorcycle Service and Repair (CMSR) of IGNOU; or

Also candidates are 12th pass with Maths, Physics and Chemistry

Candidates should be employed in Central or State-level manufacturing industries or in public or private manufacturing industries or in other related organisations employing similar manpower or self-employed in equivalent capacity.
