The University Grants Commission holds National Eligibility Test (NET) Exam for determining the eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian universities and colleges. Here I am giving you information about National Eligibility Test (NET) organized by University grant commission below : Important Dates Last date to pay application fees 3rd March, 2014 Closing date of online submission of applications 4th March, 2014 End date to receipt the hard copies of application form 8th March, 2014 Closing date for hard copy submission from remote areas 14th March, 2014 End date to request the cell to change the center 28th March, 2014 Registered candidates exam date on CSIR, HRDG Website 20th May, 2014 Last date for exam of non registration candidate’s 27th May, 2014 Issue of e- Admission certificates Mid of June, 2014 Exam date: 22 June 2014 Educational qualification: You have to passed a Master degree or equivalent in related subjects from a well recognized university and you must have a minimum of 55% (54.99% is not eligible) in PG degree ./. Age Limitation: -Applicants applying for JRF should not be more than 28 years of age as on 01st January 2014. -There is no upper age limit for Lectureship and the relaxation in age for the reserved category job fighters will be applied as per the government norms.
