Can you please tell me DS Seat criteria for IIT JEE Mains so that I can it and remember easily about it?

Feel free I will tell you DS Seat criteria for IIT JEE Mains so that you can go through it and I have idea about it.

Candidates Who Can Participate In Joint Seat Allocation

Criterion (i): Qualified in JEE (Advanced) 2016 for academic programs [excluding the preparatory courses] at IITs and ISM
AND satisfies the “Performance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination

Criterion (ii): Qualified in JEE (Advanced) 2016 for preparatory courses at IITs and ISM AND satisfies the “Performance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination

Criterion (iii): Secured a rank in JEE (Main) 2016 Paper-1 for B.E./B.Tech. programs at NITs, IIEST, IIITs and Other-GFTIs AND must have passed Class XII (or equivalent) examination* with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject. Further, the candidates must obtain at least 45% [for GEN] or 40% [for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD] in each of the subjects.

Seat Allocation For Ds Candidates
Two (2) seats are preferentially allocated in every Institute under the DS category.

A candidate must be in the CRL to be eligible for preferential allocation under the DS category.

Candidates who are eligible for seat allocation under the DS category will also be considered under their (birth) category [viz., GEN, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, GEN-PwD, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC-PwD and ST-PwD]. For example, if a candidate belongs to the OBC-NCL category and is also eligible
