my brother is a student of the MBA course at the Indira Gandhi National Open University. he wants to make the DTC Bus Pass . but he has no idea about how to apply for it. so will you please tell me about how to apply for DTC Bus Pass of the student of Indira Gandhi National Open University?

I am student of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and want the DTC bus pass. Will you tell is IGNOU student eligible for DTC bus pass if yes provide all details?

IGNOU is an open university where a student is not required to attend college classes regularly.

He/She has to approach the study center only to submit Assignments or to attend Practicals. Hence IGNOU students are not entitled for a DTC Students Pass

Currently, student passes are valid only for DTC non-AC and cluster buses.

As per the DTC guidelines for students passes, the concessional passes are made on monthly basis for Rs 100. Students studying in regular colleges of any Central and Government authorised universities can avail pass.

However, for students of open (correspondence) courses at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and School of Open Learning (DU), the facility is restricted for travel between their residence and the colleges.
