D Y Patil University Navi Mumbai conducts All India Entrance Test (AIET) for admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) courses. Eligibility Criteria for Appearing at DY Patil AIET One must be Indian National Educational Qualification: One should have passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent exam from a recognized board with English securing minimum 50% marks (40% for backward class students) in the aggregate of the subjects namely, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) for admission to MBBS/BDS The backward class candidates must attach copy of the caste certificate and caste verification certificates along with the application One who has appeared for HSC or equivalent exam and whose results are declared before the dates of counselling are also eligible to appear at AIET Selection Process One who secure the minimum 50% marks at AIET and satisfy the eligibility norms laid down by respective councils are eligible for admission to MBBS/BDS in courses would be offered provisional admission to these on the basis of the inter se merit at the time of counselling One is required to produce the original copies of the following documents at the time of counselling along with one set of their photocopies (original documents are returned after verification at the counselling counter) If one has submitted original documents to some other institute, should bring a letter from Head of that Institute certifying submission of documents in that institute Dr DY Patil University AIET Pattern:- The AIET will be of three hours duration There will be one question paper at the Entrance Test in English medium containing 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs), 50 each in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Each correct answer carries one mark. There is no negative marking. |
