SSC Stenographers (Grade C & D) Examination will consist of objective type Multiple Choice Questions in Online Test and Skill Test in Stenography.

Examination Paper Pattern

The examination will be held in two phases – Computer Based Test and Skill test. Candidates who will secure qualifying marks in the CBT as decided by the commission will be selected for Skill test.

The skill test will be qualifying in nature. Candidates who will qualify in the skill test will be recommended for appointment on the basis of their total marks in C


Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:
A candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January,1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

Age Limit:
Candidates should be in between 18-27 years

Educational Qualification
Candidates should have passed class 12 standard or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.

Grade Pay – Rs 4200/- (Pay Band 2)
Initial Pay – Rs 5200Stenographer Grade D:Pay Scale : 5200-20200
Grade Pay – 2400/- (Pay Band 1)
