Education :

PhD in Comparative Literature, with postdoctoral research on areas as diverse as Women’s Writing, Postmodernism, Diaspora Literature and South Asian Writings.


Career :

Prof Sunaina Singh served as the Chairperson, Department of English, Osmania University and asthe President, Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute, a binational Research Organization, from 2009 to 2011.


Awards and Achievements :

Among the many awards that she has received, special mention should be made of the Commonwealth Academic Staff Scholarship Award [1984],

the Postdoctoral Faculty Award 2005 from the Department of Foreign Affairs Ministry, Canada, and India Studies National Chair at Shanghai University, China Nominated by ICCR in 2010
