Settled among the pines in a standout amongst the most grand urban communities of North-East India, the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) Shillong Campus was built up in Shillong in the year 1973 as the Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages (CIEFL) North-East Campus, one year after Meghalaya accomplished statehood.
