Eligibility for CAT to Get Admission in MBA
I want to know about required Eligibility criteria and procedure for CAT examination to get admission in MBA course ? Common Admission Test (CAT) is a computer based test started by Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) for admission in management courses .. CAT Eligibility-- You must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) awarded by any of the Universities Age limit There is no age limit for the CAT entrance exam; Exam pattern : The written exam based on the areas are :: >> Quantitative ability >> Data Interpretation >> Verbal ability >> Logical Reasoning Syllabus : VA(Verbal Ability): Reading Comprehension, Paragraph Arrangement, Inference Deduction, Vocabulary, Fill in the blanks and Verbal Reasoning. DI (Data Interpretation): Bar, Pie and Line Charts type questions, and questions related to Data Sufficiency. QA (Quantitative Ability): Question based on Geometry, Number System, Time and Money, Distance Speed, Chain Rule, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Mixtures and Alligation, Compound and Simple Interest, Pipes and Cistern etc. , Algebra and Geometrical Sections such as Circles, Triangles, Mensuration etc. LR (Logical & Analytical Reasoning): Blood Relation, Puzzles, Arguments, Statements and assumptions, Coding and Decoding, Pattern, and Syllogisms etc. Last edited by Neelurk; June 17th, 2020 at 08:33 AM. |
