The Bihar Public Service Commission is announces the recruitment exam under different administrative services under Group B and C respectively through the common written exam held in the state every year.

Bihar Public Service Commission exam consist of two papers which are:
Preliminary examination
Main examination

Eligibility Criteria

Age criteria:
Candidates should be in between 19 years to 24 years
Relaxation in the age will provide according to the categories as per the government norms.

Academic qualification:
Candidates must have a Graduate Degree in Mathematics/ Chemical Engineering/Civil Engineering/Economics/ Geology/ Natural Science/ Mechanical Engineering.

There are four papers in BPSC examination.

Hindi
General studies
First Optional Paper
Second Optional Paper

Pattern:

It consists of four papers. Hindi, General Studies, First Optional paper, and Second Optional Paper:

You have to score minimum 30 marks in Hindi paper.

General Subject paper is divided into two papers:
General subject paper one maximum (200 marks) time limit 3hrs
General subject paper two maximum (200 marks) time limit 3hrs

Paper-4 (Paper-I of First optional subject), full marks – 200

Paper-5 (Paper-I of First optional subject), full marks – 200

Paper-6 (Paper-I of First optional subject), full marks – 200

Paper-7 (Paper-I of First optional subject), full marks – 200
