Eligibility criteria of Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test
Hello sir I want to know eligibility criteria for of Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test? What eligibility should be requiring for Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test for Classes VI- VIII and Classes I-V? The Teachers Eligibility Test in Karnataka is conducted by the Department of School Education, Government of Karnataka and is also known as known as Karnataka TET. Eligibility criteria for Classes VI- VIII and Classes I-V in KTET exam are here: The KTET exam has three stages for candidates. Two stages paper are for Classes VI- VIII and Classes I-V Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage: PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). B.A / B.Sc Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI- VIII: Elementary Stage: B.A / B.Sc Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). B.A / B.Sc Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A /B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed /B.Sc.Ed.
