Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme offered by Dibrugarh University was introduced in the Centre for Computer Studies in 2007.

The duration of the programme is 3 years (six semesters) and its academic session begins in the month of August.

The programme currently follows the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) for the Post-Graduate Programmes of Dibrugarh University. The course is approved by AICTE.

Eligibility

Graduate in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks with Mathematics as one of the subjects in 10+2 or at Degree Level Examination.

Students appearing in the Bachelor Degree Final Exam, the result of which is awaited, may also apply.
Relaxation and Reservation will be as per Dibrugarh University Statutory Rules.

Application

Selection for admission is based on an Admission Test which will contain multiple-choice type questions on Aptitude, Mathematics (10+2 level) and General English.

Notice inviting application for admission into MCA programme is issued in the 1st/2nd week of May every year in the leading newspapers of Assam (particularly The Assam Tribune and the Dainik Janambhumi) and also in this website.

Candidates may apply after downloading/collecting the prescribed Application Form and submitting it at the Centre for Computer Studies.
