For nearly 50 years, Emory and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta have worked toward a shared vision and mission – to train the next generation of physicians and to provide high-quality medical care to children. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta system consists of three hospitals (Children's at Egleston, Children's at Hughes Spalding and Children's at Scottish Rite), 16 neighborhood locations around the metro-Atlanta area, and access to more than 1,400 pediatric physicians representing over 30 pediatric specialties. Togeather Emory and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta are caring for the children of Georgia. Together, they are training the next generation of physicians in cooperation, they are conducting groundbreaking research for cures to some of the most perplexing childhood diseases. Children's at Egleston, 255 beds situated at Emory campus, Annual patient services: 11,056 admissions, 238,342 outpatient services. Staffed by 337 Emory and 358 community physicians, with Emory clinicians providing 80% of care. Children's at Hughes Spalding, 24 beds situated at Grady Hospital campus. Annual patient services: 970 admissions and 77,673 outpatient services. Staffed by 68 Emory physicians (full-time equivalent of 22.5), 12 Morehouse physicians, and 20 community physicians, with Emory clinicians providing about 66% of care. Some Emory paediatric faculty teach and have admitting privileges at Children's at Scottish Rite, 250 beds (north Atlanta).
