Pune University Ph.D. Entrance Test:

Eligibility :
Applicants must have post graduate (masters) degree in a related subject .
Secure a minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks or equivalent grade point average (GPA).

Test Pattern:-

Paper-I consists of 3 Parts
a Logical Reasoning.
b) Numerical Ability.
c) Reasoning and Language Aptitude.

Total Marks: 100
Total Questions: 100

All questions with multiple choices, each correct answer carries 1 Mark.
No negative marking system.

Duration & Timing of Entrance Exam:
2 Hours

Standard of passing for Paper-I:
Category - Minimum marks required
a)General:- 50% marks
b) Reserved: 45% marks

Candidates qualified in Paper–I are eligible to appear for Paper -II only.

Paper-II : (Subject Specific Test)

Paper- II consists of two Parts

Multiple Choice Questions: 20 Marks

Theoretical / Descriptive Questions: 80 Marks

Total: 100 Marks

Standard of Passing for Paper- II
Category - Minimum marks required
General: 50% marks
Reserved: 45% marks
